Amazing. I don't get how you did the section on the stairs - can you have speech appear on the player's turn, too?

This is really classy. Great use of space and composition. Sort of reminds me of that J.G. Ballard story Billenium: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billennium_%28short_story%29
